Today's comic is a good example of why Archie Comics will probably never hire me... ever.
Then again, have those themes come up as of late? I haven't read the thing since the mid-80s...
And even then it was mostly old-hand-me-down-digests from various relatives and what not...
So we're talking mid-70s digests?
And those are full of reprints from every year 'till then...like... since the 40s?
So yea, I really haven't caught up with the gang.
Do they still even have
Lil' Jinx stories in those?
Is there a Pop Tate still?
Hamburgers?
Did they keep that 1920s crown on old Forsythe P. Jones?
Why do I know this much about Archie?

Today you not only get an awesome cartoon about

Why?
Well, I decided to pull a George Lucas and go back and fix it up. I'm gonna use the typical George Lucas answer about how it's not really how I initially pictured it, and I didn't have the technology back then, and I promised I'd one day go back and add stuff, and now I'm 85% there, hur hur hur.
Truth is, it kinda bugged me for awhile now, and I never got around to fixing it, and I figured, aw hell, why not?
I'm not gonna release the original on DVD. If I will, it'll be bare-bones edition without any extras and in letterbox format rather than anamorphic-widescreen, and forget about 5.1 sound. Oh sna--
But yea, uh, I debated if I should "remaster it", and now I did, so there.
It still has the same caption, same basic premise, same kinda penguin... just with an expensive makeover.
No collagen, coz then he looks like a whoooore.
Anyhoo, the point is, he looks all purty and mystical... and stuff...
Ok, enough out of me. Will I redo any other drawings from way back in 2004?
I dunno, right now I need some sleep.
